Enjoy short trip with pleasant waves and wind
The Isohara Coast in the center of Kitaibaraki provides a panoramic view of the majestic Pacific Ocean,while the Izura Coast in the north offers beautiful coves and Rokkakudo.

There are five coves, of various sizes, and the scenery, with the clear blue of the sea and the green of the pine trees growing on the cliffs, is like something out of a Japanese painting.
At Izura Misaki Park, you can also see the Pacific Ocean as well as Rokkakudo designed by Tenshin Okakura,who devoted himself to the development of Japanese modern art.

If you have time, you may want to visit Otsu Fishing Port, which boasts one of the largest catches in the prefecture, you may want to visit Otsu Fishing Port, which and Hirakata Port, where anglerfish are caught.

Fishing for anglerfish, a specialty of Kitaibaraki, begins in November and the anglerfish are auctioned off by brokers.
Here, you can try your hand at boat fishing, heading out to sea in a boat.
