Tenshin Memorial Museum of Art, Ibaraki
The Tenshin Memorial Museum of Art, Ibaraki features the achievements of Tenshin Okakura, who made significant contributions to the advancement of modern Japanese painting, through valuable materials such as his letters and belongings. In addition, the museum exhibits works by Taikan Yokoyama, Kanzan Shimomura, Shunso Hishida, and Busan Kimura, all of whom are from Izura.
The museum also holds special exhibitions on a regular basis, allowing visitors to appreciate a wide variety of Japanese paintings.
